The re-released 2009 Buggy Champ 1/10 Off-Road 2WD Buggy Kit is a nostalgic journey back to the roots of RC off-road racing, capturing the essence of the original "Buggy Boom" that started in 1979. The solid, molded bodyshell takes its styling right from the original featuring smooth lines, and is pre-trimmed for an excellent finish. The body is made from durable polystyrene and comes in white ready to be primed and painted. The Buggy Champ surely brings back the memories of the good old days when everyone was excited with its aggressive driving performance.

The chassis features a 2mm thick FRP plate with an aluminum reinforcing plate, providing a perfect balance of strength and flexibility for stability during aggressive driving. The 4-wheel independent suspension, with front double trailing arm and rear swing axle setups, die-cast suspension arms, and oil dampers ensures optimal performance on various terrains. This chassis Kit includes both a torque tuned brushed motor and Hobbywing 1060 ESC. these components combine to deliver a performance enhanced off-road racing experience. The compact ESC boasts extreme performance, complemented by a built-in capacitor module for efficient power delivery. With exceptional current endurance capability, easily configurable parameters using ESC jumpers, and automatic throttle range calibration for user-friendly setup, the Quicrun 1060 stands out.

When upgrading to a high current LiPo battery, it is recommended to also upgrade your battery connector. We recommend using an XT60 or T-Style connector for this application. Please check out the video below to learn how to solder on a T-Style connector.
